My biggest crush was David Gregory in the 6th grade. Mr. Hartgrave who was the principal at Blanche Moore Elementary was most inspiring to me. If I could change my life, in some ways I would But then I wouldn't have my wonderful children and grandchildren.
I think my elementary years were most memorable. But in Junior High I was on the Pep Squad and went to all the football games and we won quite a few of them. It was great. My high school years were very hard for me personally. My dad was let off at the Naval Base and we had a hard time financially. My mother was ill a lot. But we survived. Feb. 24, 2010
On Feb. 17, 2010 my twin brother, Harry Boland died of a massive heart attack in Monroe, Louisiana. He had been ill for many years. He leaves his wife, Inez Boland, one daughter, Toni Boland, sons, Kenneth Boland, David Boland, Curtis Boland and one grand daughter. He will be greatly missed by his family. His brothers and sisters left are , Curtis L. Boland of San Antonio, Kenneth Wayne of Skidmore, Tx, Raymond A. Boland of Killeen, Billie JO Barecky of Corpus Christi, Elaine Emmons, of Corpus Christi and twin sister, Mary E. Melcer of Schulenburg, Tx.
